Oceanwave Storage is located in the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach at 124 S Orlando Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931. We’re just one block south of City Hall, the Cocoa Beach parking garage, and the iconic 25-foot tall Surfing Astronaut sculpture. We’re also conveniently situated about 3.5 miles south of the famous Cocoa Beach Pier and only 1.3 miles south of Lori Wilson Park. Our facility is in a historic building that was once a longtime local auto-parts store. All units are ground-floor, air-conditioned, and easily accessible with no stairs or elevators. You’ll also find plenty of on-site parking for quick and convenient visits.
What’s the story behind the big wave mural? Our large beach wave mural was painted by Summer DeSalvo to reflect Cocoa Beach’s surf culture and give the facility a bright, welcoming Florida feel the moment you walk in.
Are you in the city of Cocoa, or the city of Cocoa Beach? We're conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cocoa Beach. Cocoa Beach is a distinct barrier-island city that's two bridges and about 7 miles from the mainland.
Is insurance required?
No, you don't have to buy insurance from us. However, we strongly recommend that you obtain your own insurance for your stored belongings. Ocean Wave Storage does not insure your goods and is not liable for any loss or damage.
Are there any fees or add-ons?
No, we have no hidden fees, no administrative fees, and do not require you to purchase insurance or any other add-ons. There is only a one-time refundable $25 deposit.
Do I need a lock?
No, you do not need your own lock. All units use secure electronic locks. You can access your unit using your phone as a key or by entering a personal access code on the keypad.
Is there a cart available?
Yes, a moving cart is available on-site for your free use when loading or unloading items.

What size unit do I need?
Unit size depends on the volume and type of items you’re storing. We offer a range of sizes from small (5×5) for boxes to larger units for furniture and household goods. Contact us and we’ll be happy to help you choose the right size.
What items are prohibited?
For safety reasons, we prohibit hazardous materials, flammable liquids, perishable food, live animals, illegal substances, and any items that could damage other units. Please contact us if you’re unsure about a specific item.
How do I rent a unit?

How quickly can I access my unit after renting? Access is instant. As soon as your online rental is complete, you’ll receive a text invitation to use the StorID app for building and unit access. You can enter the facility and open your unit with no waiting, no appointment, and no office hours required. Just drive up and go right in.
Can I visit the facility before renting?

How do I make payments?
Payments are automatically debited from the card you use at signup.
What is your move-out / cancellation policy?
Rentals are month-to-month. Just let us know when you plan to vacate. We will inspect the unit upon move-out and refund your deposit if it is returned in good, clean condition.
How much notice do I need to give when moving out? Just one day’s notice is usually sufficient. Let us know by phone, text, or email the day before you plan to vacate, and you’re all set. No long-term commitment required.
How do I switch from another storage facility to Oceanwave Storage? It’s quick and easy:
